DIY All Purpose Cleaner

My DIY all-purpose home cleaner.
DIY all purpose cleaner

I believe and live by the notion that this homemade DIY all-purpose cleaner is the replacement for almost all other cleaners in the home. Our homes are filled to the brim with stuff that promised to make life easier and efficient. The lie from that stuff has our lives cluttered and our minds split; leaving you trying to remember where the specialty egg pan was put and why your shoe cleaner is in the pantry. The confusion can end when we start to simplify our possessions and evaluate what we’re wasting money on. My DIY all-purpose cleaner is the replacement for dozens of unnecessary scrubs and detergents that are probably forgotten about and used seldom for their purpose anyways underneath the clutter and complexity that is our modern lives. This cleaner can be used on any surface meant to get wet. It is gentle but works great and you can modify it to your tastes. So, without delay here is the recipe

Put a drop of your dish soap in a spray bottle.

Yep. You heard me. Fill a spray bottle (mine is 16oz) with warm water leaving a gap at the top (½ inch) and add a dime size drop of soap into the spray bottle. Close the lid and shake. Then voila you have your cleaner! If you prefer a scent to your cleaner you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oils. I’ve used 5 drops lemon and 3 drops sage, 4 rosemary and 4 sage, and 5 eucalyptus to name a few.

This cleaner seriously will work anywhere. I use Eco and Seventh Generation soap in mine so my cleaners are eco friendly. For outside applications I would avoid grass and plants if you do not use a eco certified soap or test an area before proceeding to clean outside.
